MILESTONES

The ministry started in June 2007 in Batam, Indonesia with the House of Refuge home to help women who have been abused or abandoned.

Then in Jan 2009, the House of Shalom (Girl's home) was set up to help the most needy and neglected children in the society.

Since then, more children homes were opened in Batam & Medan, Indonesia and Ilo Ilo, Philippines.

INDONESIA

June 2007 -2010 House of Refuge : Women's home in Batam

January 2009 - House of Shalom : Girl's home started in Batam

August 2012 - House of Shalom : Girl's home started in Medan

June 2013 - House of Shalom : Boy's home in Batam

May 2015 - House of Shalom : New Girl's home opened in Tanjung Morawa, Medan (moved from rented accommodation)

June 2015 - Community Centre ( Shalom Piayu ) opened in slum village , Batam

June 2016 - one hectare ( 10,000m2 ) right to use agricultural land purchased to help produce food for the poor & needy, as well as for HOS.

Jan 2017- Official new opening of new boy's home in Eden Park, Batam (moved from rented accommodation)

May 2017- Opening of a new mission house (Bethesda House) for mission team/visitors to stay

-Rededication of renovated girl's home (one extra floor added)

2017- Kindergarten and food bank started in the community centre ( Shalom Piayu)

Feb 2019- Church purchase started

March 2020- 2 churches in Batam completed

21 March 2020- Opening celebration for the 2 churches

PHILIPPINES

July 2016 - HOS charity organisation established in Iloilo, Philippines

Aug 2016 - HOS house rented

- 3 staff employed

June 2018- Land purchased in Iloilo
